Hi, I'm Michelle,

Originally from the UK, I now call the beautiful Hunter Valley, Australia, home, where I live with my husband & daughter.

Living far from family, Glow Deeper was born from a desire to create a life that allowed me to be present as a mum while pursuing something meaningful and creatively fulfilling. That's when I discovered the beautiful art of metalsmithing.

Opals have always held a special place in my heart. They're my birthstone, and the centre stone of my engagement ring, making them deeply personal long before they became my passion.

Before I discovered metalsmithing, I only knew the classic white opal as my birthstone. I had no idea there were so many varieties.

Today, I create one-of-a-kind pieces centred around carefully selected unique solid Australian opals.

No two opals are ever the same, and that's exactly what I love about them. I let each gemstone inspire the design, allowing its natural colours, patterns, and character to take centre stage. The result is jewellery that is as unique as the person who wears it.

My hope is that when you wear your Glow Deeper jewellery, it becomes more than just an accessory. Whether it marks a milestone, celebrates your individuality, or simply makes you feel beautiful, I hope each piece reminds you to let your inner light shine.
